Press release – ETPs Call for Formal Integration in FP10 and the European Competitiveness Fund

A coalition of five European Technology Platforms, EATiP, FABRE TP, ETP Food for Life, Plants for the Future ETP, and TP Organics, has issued a joint statement highlighting the essential role of ETPs in shaping Europe’s future research and innovation landscape. As the EU prepares FP10 and the European Competitiveness Fund, the Platforms underline that ETPs offer established, sector‑led and multi‑actor expertise that is crucial for strategic, coherent and impact‑driven R&I governance.

The statement stresses the importance of formally embedding ETPs within EU policy‑shaping, advisory and consultation processes to ensure better alignment between public investment and industrial needs.
